What are tenant eviction laws for renting a home?

We rent a home through a realty company. It says that we are late after the 4th of each month. My question is what do the laws state when you don’t pay your rent. How long do you have till you get evicted?
Depending on where you are and what the laws are – it is different everywhere. Typically it will state on your lease or rental agreement what you’ve signed off as being reasonable and in agreement between the landlord and yourself. As a landlord, if our renters are late more than 3 times in a row, they are given 30 days to evacuate and loss of damage deposit.
It all comes down to the rental agreement youve signed. I would read it carefully.

It depends on the state. In California, you are given a 3-day notice to pay rent or move out. If you don’t, the landlord goes to court, and gets an eviction order. Then the sheriff can come and remove you. The whole process can take a few weeks, depending on how busy the courts are in your area.
