I finally found out which realty company has the house I’m interested in?

I talked to them, they showed me the house, and gave me the price (52,000). so what is the best route to go about purchasing this home.
This is a forclosed property now owned by a bank, and the realtor I spoke with represents the bank. Do I need a realtor to represent me?

i am a realtor and here is the best advice i can give. if you haven’t already spoken with a mortgage person, do so. make sure that you can qualify for the mortgage on the house you are interested in and then ask your mortgage person to get you a pre-approval letter to provide to your agent so they can prove to the homeowner that you are in fact able to purchase the home. next, tell the realtor that you are interested in the home and you would like to make an offer. depending on what state you are in depends on the relationship you have with your agent. if they represent you, then your agent should be able to guide you in how make the offer by showing you what sold in the area and showing the homeowner you are interested. if the agent represents the seller, then your agent is obligated to tell you what to offer since the agent’s job is to get the most money for the seller. if that is the case, you can ask to see what sold in the area. they cannot provide that information to you as a seller’s agent unless you specifically ask for it. good luck!

Tell the Realtor you want to buy the house!

They’ll walk you through the rest of the process.
