the normal filters …
the normal filters (which i also use) will only get rid of the chlorine taste. you have to install a reverse osmosis filter which costs thousands of dollars to get rid of all the heavy metals and the fluoride.

unlikely. you need small amounts of calcium fluoride for bones etc. sodium fluoride is just a random compound (also highly reactive – think of it free radical lite) which attacks many organs in the body. the tooth decay argument is nonsensical, as even if sodium fluoride was good for teeth (wheres the proof?), it should be a topical treatment, so i suppose fluoridating toothpaste partially passes in this narrow context. but why drink it? do you drink shampoo to clean your hair?
