Do you believe in a true reality or do you believe reality is different to each individual?

I tend to believe you create your own reality. Your reality is formed by your attitude. You can put two people in the exact same circumstance and have two totally different feelings of what happened and how it felt to be there. What do you think?
Everyone creates there own reality. Example: A woman with poor self-esteem constantly beats herself up and hates to go in public. However, a man sees her in public and she is the most beautiful thing he has seen all day. Two different realities, the same people involved.

Yes I believe that there are two realities, the idividual reality as they percieve it and the true reality that no individuals interpretation can change.

well,when you’re talking about 2 different people being in the same circumstance and having 2 different points of view,that’s being individual,no one is the same,but if you want to go deeper and talk about perceiving reality in a different way then in a way i agree,what i see and feel may be in my mind do you know what i mean like maybe we all have our own personal state of perceiving and if i see the world like i perceive it to be maybe the person next to me on the bus is actually lying in bed dreaming they are on a plane going on Holiday sitting next to me,but that’s their world…

There is a true reality. People do differ in perception, but this is not the same as reality. You can not fly through the air like superman however much you wish it. There are a number of things you simply can not do and thus you can not create reality. If everybody created their own reality then there would be no way for two beings to interact. Cause and effect must be bound by common laws or else nothing is real.

I BELEIVE THAT PERCEPTION IS REALITY SO IF YOU HAVE TO PEOPLE EVEN IF THEY ACT THE SAME LOOK THE SAME AND ENJOY THE SAME THINGS THEIR RESPECTIVE REALITIES WILL BE DIFFERENT .

OK….Before any of us can answer this question there has to be some common ground on what reality is……. How can their be different form’s of reality, or in this case a true or untrue form? How can "WE" determine what is existing and not? And, if this is the case where is the judge of reality? What is safe to say is that everyone has LIFE experiences and that LIFE is different to each individual…..The rason for this, Reality cannot be measured and is as great a mystery as eternity, what we can say is that LIFE is based on the individual and our LIVE’S can create REALITY.
