There was a game made for the treo(i think ~600 series, around that time) that looked just like this except they used little aliens.
It was basically a camera app but with little aliens scattered around that you had to shoot.

it is not as we don’t have the technology now. it’s just that if we are making it, it lags a lot. too much calculation. only scanning the area in 3D is not fast.

It’s a TV show. A humorous one. The last thing they wanted is to make people actually think it’s real. So it’s not ‘fake’. It’s a joke.

Everyone calling ‘fake’ hasn’t bothered to read the description. It clearly says ‘how it WILL look’. It says nothing about it being a real game.
As a mock-up, it’s -very- well done. As technology progresses, this gets easier and easier to do. We’re almost there.

Not really fake but more like fictional. It’s a clip from a TV series called Mesudarim (”all set up”). Nice idea though.

It’s obviously a fake. Look at the white frame over the screen behind the speakers. Also, main view of the game is lower than the guy himself.

Hmz, but that would …
Hmz, but that would have to run on THE most high tech platforms out there. To make something like this video, the room should be mapped beforehand. AND there has to be some kind of incredible people-recognition system that can find the contours of people instantly. I don’t think that exists yet, so not possible.
