How can I be more successful in life?

I am a 25 year old male (soon to be 26) and I have been suffering from social anxiety most of my life. I do have a two year associate’s degree from community college and I currently live in an apartment with my gf of 3 years. I have been working only one job my whole life and that is at an animal hospital. Yes, I have been there for almost 7 years now and the realty of that makes me bummed out a little bit. I guess I have never really believed in myself enough to do anything else. I am very talented musically though and most of my life I was told to do something with it, but yet I have wasted most of my life not even pursuing it. I am currently working on an album all by myself at home but I feel like I need to get a better job and do other things. What is the first step in getting my life back in order? I have just been promoted at my job but I want a different one, I want to get my music going, and I want to be successful and live comfortably (have more money). What are the first steps in achieving this?
Ok, I have a two year degree. You really think I’m screwed if I can’t go to college? Like I’m really going to make much money as a band teacher in college…in this economy. Thanks for the lame advice.

Have you talked to your girlfriend about how you feel? There are meds for anxiety. Maybe you should see a professional. There is no shame in that. Once you can relax more you may be able to think things through a little better. I have anxiety issues that have been greatly relieved as a result of regular therapy and medication. Please try it out because you seem way too talented to let it all go to waste.

It’s a Nigerian or Russian money laundering scam. Do NOT respond unless you want to end up in prison. They are using you to launder illegally gained money and YOU are the one who will be arrested for this.

Report this ASAP to the site where it was posted so they can remove it

You can tell it’s not even written by an American, let alone a native English speaker
- "Our head office is located in United States" instead of THE United States
- "We have a lot of customers in UK" instead of in THE UK
- "But the amount of our customers is constantly increasing" instead of but the NUMBER of our customers
- "We need responsible person" instead of we need A responsible person
- "We send you Application Form" instead of AN application form
Actually, the lack of definite and indefinite articles leads me to believe this scam is being operated out of Eastern Europe. You can do an IP lookup to see this email is not coming from Florida where the real company is based http://aruljohn.com/info/howtofindipaddress/

A real company ALWAYS has a merchant banking account, they do not use Western Union or Moneygram for any reason or ask complete strangers to handle payments. They need to process everything through their merchant banking account for tax reasons

Not only is this a classic money laundering scam that can land you in prison for felony money laundering and banking fraud offenses, they are also committing identity theft by asking you to send a scanned copy of your ID, so your identity will be used to scam the next group of victims

Delete this without responding and report it to the site where the job was posted ASAP to get it removed and prevent others from being scammed.

A legitimate company ALWAYS has a business banking account – they NEVER ask complete strangers they’ve never even met to handle any sort of financial transactions.
