Using the infrared camera in the Wii remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs), you can accurately track the location of your head and render view dependent images on the screen. This effectively transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment. For instance, someone thinks I said something that was rude, but my reality is that I don’t think it is a rude thing to say.

And another thing, why does my brain get all fuzzy and weird, almost like panic when you think about philosophical things like this.
Im a perfectionist, what can I say.

Starting from the time we’re born, and onward, as our minds continue to expand, we form a self and an universe outside ourselves. We see our mind as belonging to ourselves, but see the universe as not being owned by us. The role of self-identity seems to be automatic. Conscious thought, such as learning a new idea, is a separate level of thinking. When we start asking ourselves deep questions of the substance of our very "being", what was previously innately formed, questions such as, "When and how did the "I within" become "me"?, or ,"Who exactly is this person who’s thinking about itself and acknowledging that there’s space and a supposed reality around me?", you find yourself "losing your grasp on reality". This feels very much like the temporary amnesia one feels when awakening from a deep sleep. It’s almost as if the self isn’t supposed to ask such questions! But at the same time, since it seems forbidden, you want to explore these ideas even more. This is why your mind becomes "grayed out" and panicky.

However, universality isn’t explained away by the knowledge that we, individually, form separate ideas and judgments, and that we are the creators of our reality. The very fact that ALL of us are consistently forming our own universe, establishes this. This is a shared creation of reality. The same basic instructions are exercised by us all.

Do atheistic Buddhists have a personal relationship with reality since they call themselves atheists?

Well dear you need to have a sense of reality or you’ll go mad so I’d have to say yes. I don’t know about the Buddhists.
